art play/babe play

Art Play: ages 2-4, with a caregiver

Babe Play: 8 months - 2, with a caregiver

Our most popular class - Art Play is a mix of group activities, individual project and exploration, and sensory activities. You and your child will work together on the individual project and have a fun bonding experience. Have a 5 year old with high sensory needs? They are welcome too!

Babe Play is very similar to Art Play - but with baby safe materials. There are no take home projects in this class, but its a safe space for your baby to explore their senses and art materials. And for parents/caregivers to connect with each other!

storytime art

ages 3.5-5

A transitional art class for preschoolers for those who have grown out of Art Play, but still not old enough for our elementary aged classes. There will be more focus on art making here than sensory play, but we still have both! We read a book at the beginning of class, and then make an art project that goes along with the book. Once kids are done with their art project, sensory play stations are opened up for the remainder of class. We recommend this as a drop-off class, but if you need to stay with your child, that is ok!

art explorers & homeschool

Grades Kindergarten - 5th

A process art class for elementary aged students. We put an emphasis on the creative process during these classes. Children will receive age appropriate guidance, but still be able to express themselves creatively. Children will also learn how to use different tools, art methods, and art vocabulary. This class is a mix of personal projects and collaborative group experiences. These are drop-off classes.

This class is also offered as a Homeschool class.

drawing club

Grades 3rd-5th

In this class, we will teach age appropriate drawing techniques. No matter what level of drawing you child is at, our goal is for them to not feel intimidated by learning this new skill! We are here to create a safe and fun space for kids to hang out with other kids who also love to draw. We will learn to do things like drawing from observation and imagination, shading, perspective, value, scale, color theory, and more. We will think of this class as a drawing "workout". Drawing is a skill that can be taught, but learning and practicing must happen to improve!

sewing

Ages 7-14

An introductory sewing class for those who have never used a sewing machine, or those who have recently started and want to learn more. Kids will get familiar with sewing machines and how they work. Projects will progress from easiest projects to slightly more advanced ones. Class is limited to 6 kids, so that each child can have their own machine to work on.
